Toronto & the GTA

A logo that was drawn for your business

Branding in Toronto is sold at two prices: several thousand dollars for a research engagement, or a couple of hundred for a mark that may already belong to somebody else. InceptiCode sells the middle — original design, a complete file set, and the source files in your name — starting at C$490.

Logo design from C$490 · full identity C$1,990 · fixed before any work starts.

Packages

Three packages, and the price is the price.

Each one is a fixed deliverable rather than an estimate. What moves between them is how much of the business the brand has to cover, not how much research gets billed.

Logo Design

An original mark, drawn for your business rather than picked from a library.

  • Three original concepts, not three colour variations of one idea
  • Two rounds of revisions on the concept you choose
  • Final files in vector and raster, for print, web, signage and social
  • Light, dark and single-colour versions
  • A one-page usage sheet covering minimum sizes and clear space

Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude HST.

What you get

What separates this from a C$300 logo

  • The mark is drawn, not selected

Three original concepts from a brief about your business, not three colourways of a shape bought from a marketplace. A logo that turns up on another company in another city is the specific risk of the cheap end of this market.

  • Files for every place it has to appear

Vector and raster, light, dark and single colour, sized for print, web, signage, vehicle wrap and social. Most of the cost of a cheap logo arrives later, as a charge every time a new format is needed.

  • You own it, source files included

Ownership transfers on final payment and nothing is licensed back. If you work with a different designer in five years they can open the files and carry on.

  • It carries into the website

Where InceptiCode is also building the site, the palette and type decided here are the ones the build uses. The alternative — a brand decided twice, once by a designer and once by a developer — is why so many small businesses have a website that does not match their van.

  • An existing mark is usually worth keeping

If customers already recognise your logo, replacing it throws away recognition you paid years to earn. A redraw and a proper file set is often the right job, and it is quoted well below a new mark.

  • Published price, fixed before we start

The number on this page is the number. No discovery phase billed separately, and no workshop invoiced before anybody draws anything.

How it works

The same process as every other project here.

Brief, concepts, revisions, files. You approve the direction before anything is refined, and the price does not move.

  1. Tell us about the business

A short call or a form. What you do, who buys from you, what you want the website to bring in. No technical questions.

  2. Strategy and scope

InceptiCode comes back with a page-by-page plan and a fixed price. You approve it before anything is designed or built.

  3. Design

The key pages are designed properly, with your content in them rather than a wireframe. Two rounds of revisions are built into the price.

  4. Development

The approved design gets built — responsive, fast, with forms and tracking wired up as part of the work.

  5. Review

A staging link goes to you, and you go through it properly. Content, links, forms, phone numbers. Anything wrong gets fixed before launch.

  6. Launch

InceptiCode handles DNS, hosting and the cutover, submits the sitemap to Google, and confirms tracking is recording. Then we stay reachable.

FAQ

Branding questions worth asking

Why is your logo design so much cheaper than a branding agency?

Because a different thing is being bought. A branding agency's C$5,000 to C$15,000 engagement includes market research, positioning workshops, naming, and a strategy document — real work that a company with a committee and a category to defend genuinely needs. InceptiCode sells the deliverable: an original mark, the colours and type around it, and the files to use them. For most Toronto businesses under fifty people, that is the part that was actually needed.

Do I own the logo?

Yes, completely, including the vector source files. Ownership transfers to you on final payment and nothing is licensed back. Some studios keep the source files and re-charge for every new format; you get everything, and if you work with a different designer later they can pick it straight up.

How many concepts and revisions do I get?

Three original concepts, and two rounds of revisions on the one you pick. Three concepts means three genuinely different directions, not one idea in three colours. Revisions beyond the two rounds are quoted before any further work starts, so a third round is a decision you make rather than an invoice you receive.

Can you just redraw or tidy up our existing logo?

Often, and it is usually the right answer for an established business. If customers already recognise the mark, throwing it away costs recognition you paid years to build. A redraw — cleaning up the shapes, fixing the type, producing proper files and versions — is quoted per job and is normally well below the price of a new logo.

Do I need branding before the website?

Only if the mark is genuinely holding the site back. A website can be designed around an adequate existing logo, and frequently should be, because the site is what produces enquiries. Where InceptiCode does both together, the palette and type from the brand work carry into the build rather than being decided twice.

Send us what you have now.

Even a photograph of your van or your sign is enough to start. We will tell you honestly whether the mark is worth redrawing or replacing. We normally reply within one business day.
