Toronto & the GTA

Google Ads, at a flat fee and in your own account

Most Toronto agencies charge a percentage of what you spend on Google Ads, which pays them more for spending more of your money. InceptiCode charges a flat monthly fee, builds the account in your name, and proves the conversion tracking works before a single ad runs.

Campaign build C$490 · management from C$390/month · month to month, no minimum spend.

A couple of sentences is plenty. What you do, and what you want the site to do for you.

Before you read the packages

InceptiCode has not run a client Google Ads campaign yet.

No client campaigns have run. Stating that costs us work, and stating it is still better than letting you assume otherwise and finding out during the engagement.

What has been built is the surrounding machinery, and it is real: the conversion tracking specification, the landing pages, the campaign structure, the keyword and negative-keyword lists, and the decision gates for when to increase spend and when to stop. This business is launching its own campaign on that plan before offering to run anybody else's, and the plan itself was written to be checked rather than sold.

If you want an agency with ten years of ad accounts behind it, that is a completely legitimate reason to choose one, and there are several good ones in Toronto. What is on offer here is the method, the transparency, your own account, and a price that reflects exactly where we are.

Packages

Build it once, or have it managed.

Plenty of businesses run their own campaign perfectly well after a proper build. That is the cheaper answer when somebody there has an hour a week, and we would rather say so.

Campaign Build

The account set up properly once, then handed to you to run yourself.

C$490

  • Google Ads account created in your name, with billing under your control
  • Conversion tracking built and verified with a real test lead — form, call and booking
  • Campaign structure, ad groups and keywords built around how your customers search
  • A negative keyword list built before launch, not after the budget is gone
  • Search-only targeting, with the Display Network and Search Partners switched off
  • Location targeting set to presence rather than interest — the setting that wastes the most small-account budget
  • Responsive search ads written to the character limits, with the published price in the copy
  • A written handover so you can run it yourself, including what to check weekly

Managed — Growth

Several campaigns, landing pages included, once the first one works.

C$690 per month

Plus a one-time C$490 campaign build in month one.

  • Everything in Managed — Lite
  • Multiple campaigns, including separate service or location campaigns
  • Landing page work for the campaigns, built on the same site we already maintain
  • Audience and remarketing setup where it genuinely applies
  • Conversion tracking extended as new actions are added
  • A monthly call rather than only a written report

Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude HST. Your advertising budget is separate and is paid by you directly to Google.

How this is run

What the fee actually buys

  • A flat fee, never a percentage of your spend

A percentage model pays the agency more the more of your money it spends. That conflict sits inside the pricing itself, and no amount of good intent removes it. The fee here does not change whether you spend C$500 or C$5,000 a month.

  • Your budget goes straight to Google

Paid on your card, in your account, never billed through us and never marked up. Agencies that resell ad spend are holding a lever you cannot see.

  • Tracking built and proven before launch

Conversion tracking is verified with a real test lead — form submit, call click and booking — before a single ad runs. A campaign whose conversions are not proven to record is a campaign spending money it cannot report on, and it is the most common defect we expect to find in accounts we take over.

  • The landing pages are ours to fix

Most ad performance problems are landing page problems. Where we built the site, a page can be changed the same day rather than raised as a ticket with whoever did — which is the usual reason an underperforming campaign stays underperforming for a quarter.

  • The settings that quietly waste small budgets

Search Partners and the Display Network switched off. Location targeting set to presence, not presence-or-interest — the default serves your ads to people anywhere in the world researching Toronto. Negatives written before launch instead of after the money is gone.

  • We will tell you when to stop

A monthly recommendation that includes stopping. Paid search does not work for every business at every budget, and an agency whose fee depends on the campaign continuing has an obvious reason not to mention that.

Terms

The five things worth getting in writing

Every one of these is a question worth asking any agency you speak to, including this one.

  • The fee is flat. It is never a percentage of your ad spend, because a percentage pays us more the more of your money we spend.
  • Your ad budget is paid by you, directly to Google, on your own card. We never bill it through us and never mark it up.
  • The account is created in your name and stays yours. If you stop working with us you keep the account, the history and the conversion data.
  • Month to month, thirty days notice, no minimum contract and no minimum ad spend.
  • No guarantee of rankings, leads or cost per lead is offered by anyone here, because nobody can honestly offer one.

FAQ

Paid search questions worth asking

Do you charge a percentage of our ad spend?

No, and that is deliberate. A percentage of spend pays the agency more the more of your money it spends, which is a conflict of interest sitting inside the pricing model. The fee here is flat, and it does not change whether you spend C$500 or C$5,000 a month. Your ad budget goes directly to Google on your own card and is never billed through us or marked up.

Who owns the Google Ads account?

You do. It is created in your name, billed to your card, and the conversion history stays with it. If you stop working with us you keep the account, the data and everything learned in it — which matters, because a campaign that has been running for a year is worth considerably more than an empty one.

Have you run Google Ads campaigns for clients before?

No client campaigns yet, and the honest answer is worth more than an implied one. InceptiCode has built the tracking, the landing pages and the campaign plans, and is launching a campaign for this business first. What is on offer is the method and the transparency, at a price that reflects it. If you want an agency with a decade of ad accounts behind it, that is a legitimate reason to choose one — and there are several in Toronto.

What results can you guarantee?

None, and nobody honestly can. Google does not sell positions, competitors change their bids, and the cost per lead in a category is not something an agency controls. What can be promised is that the account is structured properly, that every lead is tracked to the click that produced it, and that you will be told plainly when the numbers say to stop rather than to spend more.

What is the minimum ad budget?

There is no minimum, but there is a point below which the exercise is not informative. Toronto web and service categories realistically run C$8 to C$20 a click, so a budget that buys fewer than roughly a hundred clicks a month will take a long time to tell you anything. We will say honestly when a budget is too small to learn from before taking a management fee for watching it.

Can you just set it up and let us run it?

Yes — that is what the Campaign Build is. The account, tracking, structure, negatives and ad copy are built properly once, then handed over with a written explanation of what to check each week. Plenty of businesses run their own campaigns perfectly well after that, and it is a cheaper answer than a monthly fee if somebody there has an hour a week.

Tell us what a customer is worth to you.

That number decides whether paid search makes sense at all, and it is the first thing we will ask. If the answer is that it does not, we will say so. We normally reply within one business day.
