Pricing

What a business website actually costs

Starting at C$2,490. Most business projects land between C$2,490–C$4,990. Here is exactly what moves a project up that range.

E-Commerce Store

Shopify or WooCommerce, set up to actually sell — not just to look finished.

From C$3,990

Most projects: C$5,900–C$8,900+

What the starting package covers

  • Everything in the Business Website package
  • Store build on Shopify or WooCommerce, whichever suits the catalogue
  • Product and collection structure planned for browsing and for search
  • Conversion-focused product pages
  • Payment setup, including Canadian payment methods
  • Shipping rules and rate configuration
  • Canadian tax configuration (GST/HST/PST by province)
  • Responsive storefront tested on phones first
  • E-commerce analytics and conversion tracking
  • Email platform / CRM connection where requested

What moves the price

  • Catalogue size and how product data arrives
  • Custom storefront sections and theme work beyond the base build
  • Subscriptions, bundles, wholesale pricing or B2B rules
  • Migration from an existing store, and whether URLs and history have to be preserved
  • ERP, inventory or accounting integrations
  • Custom app or checkout functionality — always quoted separately

What's included

What's included at C$2,490

  • A website structure planned around how your customers actually decide to buy
  • Custom design — your business, not a stock theme with your logo dropped in
  • Built responsive and tested on real phone and tablet sizes, not just resized in a browser
  • Lead forms that email you the moment someone submits, with spam protection that does not annoy real visitors
  • Click-to-call on mobile, so a phone lead takes one tap
  • Google Analytics 4 installed and verified as recording
  • Google Search Console connected and your sitemap submitted
  • Technical SEO foundations: page titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, structured data, clean heading structure
  • Performance work: image optimisation, font loading, script control — aimed at real Core Web Vitals
  • Google Maps and service-area content where it suits your business
  • Every old URL redirected properly if we are replacing an existing site
  • Launch support including DNS, hosting cutover and post-launch checks
  • Two rounds of revisions at the design stage and one after build
  • A walkthrough so you can update text, images and pages yourself

Anything beyond this — booking systems, customer portals, calculators, multilingual, e-commerce — is quoted separately and clearly, before we start. You will never receive an invoice for something you did not agree to.

How it works

Six steps, and you know the price before step three.

No discovery invoices, no scope creep, no surprise change orders halfway through.

  1. Tell us about the business

A short call or a form. What you do, who buys from you, what you want the website to bring in. No technical questions.

  2. Strategy and scope

InceptiCode comes back with a page-by-page plan and a fixed price. You approve it before anything is designed or built.

  3. Design

The key pages are designed properly, with your content in them rather than a wireframe. Two rounds of revisions are built into the price.

  4. Development

The approved design gets built — responsive, fast, with forms and tracking wired up as part of the work.

  5. Review

A staging link goes to you, and you go through it properly. Content, links, forms, phone numbers. Anything wrong gets fixed before launch.

  6. Launch

InceptiCode handles DNS, hosting and the cutover, submits the sitemap to Google, and confirms tracking is recording. Then we stay reachable.

Why InceptiCode

Why businesses pick InceptiCode

The price is on the page

You already know a business website starts at C$2,490 and that most land between C$2,490–C$4,990. You did not have to fill in a form to find that out, and you will not get a different number after a discovery call.

We build for enquiries, not for awards

Forms, tap-to-call, quote flows and conversion tracking are part of the build. When the site launches you will be able to see how many enquiries it produced and which pages produced them.

Every project links to the live site

Scroll up. Those are real businesses with real phone numbers. Open them on your own phone and judge the work directly rather than taking our word for it.

Local service pages, done properly

If your customers search "emergency plumber Vaughan" you need a page about emergency plumbing in Vaughan. We build that structure, because it is what decides whether a local business gets found.

You own all of it

Domain, hosting, files, design and content — registered in your name, with the logins handed to you. Nothing is held hostage.

You talk to the people building it

No account manager relaying messages. We normally reply within one business day.

FAQ

Web design in Toronto — the questions we actually get asked

How much does a website cost in Toronto?

Our business websites start at C$2,490, and most business projects land between C$2,490–C$4,990. Online stores start at C$3,990, with larger stores typically C$5,900–C$8,900+. What moves a project up the range is page count, custom functionality, integrations, whether we write the content, and multilingual requirements. You get a fixed price in writing before any work starts.

How long does a website take?

A straightforward business website is usually three to five weeks from approved scope to launch. Larger sites and online stores typically run six to ten weeks. The single biggest factor is how quickly content and feedback come back from your side — we will tell you the honest timeline for your project before you commit, not an optimistic one.

Do I own the website?

Yes. You own the domain, the hosting account, the website files, the design and the content. Everything is registered in your name, and you get the logins. If you ever decide to work with someone else, you take it all with you and we will help with the handover.

Can you redesign my current website?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. The important part of a redesign is not the look — it is keeping the search rankings and traffic you already have. We map your existing URLs, set up proper 301 redirects, keep the pages that are earning visits, and improve the structure around them.

Is hosting included?

Hosting is not included in the build price, and we deliberately keep it in your name rather than reselling it to you. We will recommend a suitable host for your site, set it up, and hand you the account. Typical hosting for a business site runs a few hundred dollars a year, paid directly to the host.

Do you provide SEO?

Every site we build includes the technical foundations: page titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, structured data, a sitemap submitted to Google Search Console, fast loading, and a sensible page structure. That is what makes a site eligible to rank. Ongoing SEO — content, links, local listings — is separate work, and we will tell you honestly whether you need it or whether InceptiCode should point you at Google Ads instead.

Can I update the site myself?

Yes. We build on platforms you can edit without a developer, and we show you how — text, images, prices, new pages, blog posts. For anything structural you can come back to us, but day-to-day changes should not require an invoice.

Do you write the content?

We can. Many clients supply their own text and we edit and structure it, which keeps the cost down. If you would rather we write it, we will interview you, write the pages, and put it in front of you for approval. That is one of the things that moves a project up the price range.

Can you migrate my old site?

Yes. We move content, images, product data and URLs, and we redirect the old addresses to the new ones so nothing that Google already knows about turns into a broken link. For online stores we migrate products, collections, customers and order history where the platforms allow it.

What happens after launch?

Launch is not the last conversation. We stay available for the settling-in period, confirm your analytics and Search Console are reporting correctly, and fix anything that turns out to be wrong with the build. Ongoing maintenance and support are available separately if you want them — they are not compulsory.

Do you only work with Toronto companies?

Toronto and the GTA are our focus, because local work benefits from being able to meet, and because we understand this market. We do take work from elsewhere in Canada — one of the projects in our portfolio is in Calgary. If you are outside the GTA, everything still works, we just do it over calls and email.

What platforms do you use?

For business websites, whatever suits the job — usually WordPress when you want to edit content yourself, or a fast static build when you do not. For online stores, Shopify or WooCommerce. We pick the platform to fit your business, not to fit a subscription we resell. You will always be told what you are getting and why.

Tell us about the business. We'll tell you what the site costs.

Three quick steps, about a minute. You get a real scope and a fixed price from a person who will be working on the project — not a proposal generator.

  • No obligation, and we do not run a follow-up sequence.
  • If we are not the right fit, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
  • We normally reply within one business day.
